The Belgian U23 National Baseball Team starts their E.C. 2019 on Wednesday.
The European Baseball Championship U23 2019 will be held in Prague, Czech Republic from Wednesday 7 to Sunday 11 August. It will be a strong occupied tournament with 8 participating countries including top countries as The Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Germany, which is performing well this year.
The winner will advance to the 2020 WBSC U23 Baseball World Cup. So there’s a lot to play for the coming week. Belgium starts the group stage in Pool B together with the Czech Republic, Croatia and Ukraine.
It’s certainly worth mentioning that Belgian Umpires also participate at the highest European levels this year. Jean Paul Jacobs will be part of a 10-man umpire rotation this week with umpires from 9 different European countries at the E.C.
