Hoboken Pioneers win Belgian Series Softball Men 2022
In this year’s best-of-5 Belgian Series Softball Men, the Pioneers defeated the Brasschaat Braves with three games to one.
After an exciting regular season in the Gold Division, Hoboken Pioneers and Brasschaat Braves managed to stay ahead of their rivals Chicaboo’s Stabroek and Deurne Spartans. The Chicaboo’s had already won the 2022 Men’s Softball Europe Cup in August but did not manage to clinch a spot in the Belgian Series.
On the 24th of September Hoboken Pioneers won both games of the double header at Hoboken and needed only one more win for victory. Which they did on the 1st of October in the second game at Brasschaat, crowning themselves Belgian Softball Men’s Champion 2022.
