VACANCY HEAD COACH BASEBALL – 

The Beveren Lions are looking for a head coach for their 2BB squad.

Our club has been an established name in Belgium since 1976. We have a strong youth work with teams in all age categories, a recreational team, softball ladies team, slow pitch and a baseball team in the 2BB Division. Our 2BB baseball team consists of a young core with some more experienced players. It is a very broad core with motivated players.

Head coach capacities
• Be driven, passionate and take responsibility to take this young but talented group to the next level.
• A leading character to guide players and coaches in a motivating and constructive way.
• You can act rigorously and fairly if necessary, taking into account that this is a game and fun playing is an important part for this group.
• Knowledge about baseball and experience as a player and / or coach is a must.
• Strong communication skills to clearly inform players, coaches, board and officials.

Head Coach Responsibilities:
• Communicate the seasonal goals clearly and guide the team to achieve them.
• Directs the 2BB team and determines the complete training plan and competition plan.
• During the season (from March) you give 2 training sessions per week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings
• During the preseason you give 1 training in preparation for the season.

• 3 motivated, experienced assistant coaches, who assist you during training.
• A nice contribution for training and competitions, participation in the purchase of materials.
• Participation in the sporting multi-year plan of the club.
