Game Time for Baseball and Softball finalists in Belgian Series.

The Belgian Baseball and Softball competitions run from April to October and are now approaching the play-off phase. The Heist-op-den-Berg Afterburners already became convincingly Belgian Slow Pitch Champion of 2017 last week. In the coming weeks the Gold series play-offs for Softball Men and Softball Women and of course the Belgian Series Baseball will be played in a best-of-5 series in order to decide who also will be crowned Belgian Champion 2017.

After outstanding international performances of our Baseballers and Softballers this summer –  the bronze medal at the U23 European Baseball Championship;  the Borgerhout Squirrels who won the Federation Cup Baseball in Valencia or the mega performance of Softball Men Brasschaat Braves who conquered the European Super Cup, just to name a few – we also expect fireworks on our fields in the Belgian Series the coming weekends:

The Softball Men Series is played in a double header format. The Brasschaat Braves will meet up against Hoboken Pioneers on Saturday September 30th. In Brasschaat, matches 1 and 2 of the series will be played from 13:00.

For Baseball Gold, the first placed Kon. Borgerhout Squirrels will battle the Brasschaat Braves for the title. The first game starts on Saturday 7 October at 14:00 in Borgerhout. With a big kick-off Event to go for everyone attending. Sunday is the first return in Brasschaat.

The Softball Women will  start on Sunday, October 8 with their double headers in the Belgian Series. The women of Hoboken Pioneers, who recently became fourth in the European Cup Winners Cup for Women, will battle it out with the Royal Greys women. Matches in Hoboken start at 13:00.

 

New this year: all games can also be followed live online via LIVE ONLINE SCORING at the KBBSF’s website.
