The Belgium Brewers

The Belgium Brewers – The National All-Men Team

Created in 2017, the Belgium Brewers were the first national all-men team for Slowpitch Softball. Their goal was to enter the European Championships in 2018 held in the Czech Republic. The Brewers were selected from different Belgian teams competing in the national Slowpitch competition. Very motivated to give their all and to show the world what they were capable of they entered their first European Championship. They eventually placed 6th.

The ambitions of this team are clear: Enjoy the game, gain experience and promote the sport. They participated in several International Tournaments, played the European Cup (ESSL) and are prepping for the 2022 European All-Men Championships.

The Belgium Bombshells

The Belgium Bombshells – The National All-Women Slowpitch Team

The latest team to join the National family: the all-women team.
We are here and ready to go! The all-Women team was born at the request of several ladies. Try-outs and the first training sessions took place in 2020. The goal of the team is to train our female players for the future.

The Bombshells consists of two teams
One team will focus on the international playing field and join the ESSL competition. The other team will focus on getting Belgium and lay the foundations for a future National All-Women competition.

This project was started to give our female players more chances of playing and to train them to play on a higher level.

Due to the global pandemic, there have been no opportunities for any selections, so all available players will enter into the ESSL this year.

The Belgium Bats

The Belgium Bats –  The National Co-ed Team
Following the succes of the all-men team, a national co-ed team was formed. Their first big goal was to participate in the co-ed slowpitch European Championship in 2019. They finished 6th out of 11 teams.

They’ve participated in several national and international tournaments such as the World Series in London, Slava Hosana in the Czech Republic and the Windmill Clasic in Almere. Their next goal is to participate in the 2022 European Championship.
